Electronic Copies of Presentation Materials (aka "eHandouts")

This year and moving forward, we are producing approximately 25 physical copies of each session's presentation materials. These copies will be available for distribute during each live presentations at RPG World. These physical copies are being provided for those attendees with any type of vision impairment and those who prefer to have a physical copy in front of them during the lecture. Classes (called "sessions") at RPG World have a range of 20 to 80+ attendees per class. With 150+ attendees at this year's RPG World and 3 concurrent classes running at any given time, we expect this range to hold true this year as well.

Where to find eHandouts?

We will have a website set up approximately 2 business days prior tot he start of RPG World. That website is: www.eHandouts.us

You will be prompted for your User ID and Password. As an RPG World attendee, your user ID is the email address you registered with, and your password is your Confirmation number (also referred to as your invoice number).  Once again, that website address is:

Why eHandouts?

Our goal is to eventually move to nearly 100% electronic distribution of presentation materials. This provides several benefits, including but not limited to the following:

• Less waist. Near 85% of all printed presentation materials "handouts" are discarded in the hotel room prior to checking out of the hotel.
• Less weight to carry home on the plane. If you prefer a printed copy for reference back at the office, you can print one from the PDF version from your desk back at the office.
• Up-to-date materials. Instructors can modify their presentations nearly up to the last minute by simply refreshing the on-line PDF file. So you always have access to the most current materials.
• More Presentations. In addition to the sessions schedule for RPG World, additional content is also provided for sessions not given live at the conference.
• View materials on your laptop during class. Many attendees bring their laptop computer with them. By downloading the PDFs prior to attending class, you can view the presentation along with the Instructor. If you don't have time prior to class start to download them, you can do so right in class with a wi-fi card as we provide free on-site wireless Internet access to our secure Handout downloads page on www.RPGWorld.com/handouts
• Download the materials from classes you did not attend. Since every presentation will be available on-line, you can review the materials for every presentation given at RPG World--no more running from room to room to "steal" a handout before settling in to the class you really want to attend. Just focus on what you're there for, attending great classes--then go back and download the handout for classes you sat through and those you missed.
• More content. In addition to PDF versions of the PowerPoint presentations, we also include access to any source code the instructors create for their classes. This means you don't have to go back and keypunch in a bunch of source code; just download it!
